  • Coordinate activities of a project to increase disability representation in the nursing profession.
  • Assist with recruitment and enrollment, program delivery, and data input.
  • Work with the PD to coordinate the efforts of team members and community stakeholders, including scheduling and logistics for team meetings, the summer immersion program, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain effective communication among all team members and program participants ( students, faculty, clinical staff).
  • Monitor program operations and evaluation.
  • Collect outcome data and prepare relevant reports.
  • Assist with summer student recruitment activities, application processes, transportation and meal coordination, assist with securing accommodations and assistive technology, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist the PD with budget management and reconciliation, including ordering and processing invoices for supplies, travel, and contractual services.
  • Assist the PD with budget reporting as requested by the funder and at project end.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Sciences, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Project Management, or related field (Bachelor’s minimum, Master’s preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in project, program, or research program coordination and management.
  • Prior experience working with programs for individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification or training in project management is an asset.
