Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.  | High school diploma or equivalent/associate degree. Basic understanding of software development and quality assurance concepts. Familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured testing procedures. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from supervisors. Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications  | Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Experience with software testing tools or bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Selenium). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of basic SQL queries or data validation techniques. Exposure to Agile or other software development methodologies. Prior internship or work experience in a QA, technical support, or IT environment. Basic knowledge of scripting or automation concepts. Collaborate with developers and IT staff to understand project requirements and clarify test objectives. Perform regression testing after updates or bug fixes to verify issue resolution and prevent recurrence. Maintain organized test documentation, including test plans, scripts, and result logs. Participate in project meetings, milestone / sprint reviews, and process improvement discussions as needed. Support the development of internal QA standards and contribute to ongoing quality assurance initiatives.
