Job Summary | PLEASE NOTE: Selected candidate must reside in an assigned regional territory outside the Troy, AL area. This is not a recruiter position based on the Troy campus. Exact geographic possibilities will be discussed through the interview process.
College recruiters are an essential element of the University administrative team. Based on program and location capacity, recruiters build student prospects and new student markets by locating, establishing, assist in developing and implementing recruiting strategies and activities that enhance enrollments.
Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor Degree required from a regionally accredited college or university.
2. One year of recruiting and/or sales experience
3. Must have transportation and current driver’s license
4. Candidate must be able to meet and maintain auto insurance eligibility requirements.
5. Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications 1. Master’s Degree
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? | Driving is a primary responsibility
Work Hours | Extensive travel is required, some of which is overnight travel. Weekends and Evening work will also be required
List any hazardous conditions or physical demands required by this position | Frequently lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs.; frequently traveling within the Region; frequently speaking and presenting to groups;frequently sitting at a desk or workstation using a computer display, keyboard, and mouse.
