 Opportunity:
 
 The position advises students regarding career issues and strategies, job search methodology, resume preparation, internships, and other job search-related matters for students, recent graduates, and alumni. This position manages a caseload while also completing additional tasks that could include sourcing job leads or partnering with other Career Services colleagues to meet the needs of graduates and their employment goals.
 
 Responsibilities:
 • Student Advising: Provide in-depth and customized advising on job search topics including resume, interviewing, networking, and career advancement to graduates who wish to collaborate with Career Services. Uncover the latest trends and best practices that help improve the service provided to students. Advising happens via phone, email, and web-cam.
 • Job Lead Generation: Identify appropriate job leads either through existing leads in the Career Service database or within the graduates' local, desired market and distribute as needed. Help graduates maximize their job application efforts. Work with the Employer Relations team to generate needed leads and partnerships that will influence graduates.
 • Data Management: Input and manage performance metrics and caseload actions through the Career Services data management portal. Metrics to include actions made toward graduate (appointments, calls, emails, etc.) and effort toward job lead development.
 • Outbound Marketing: Generate interest in Career Services by calling recent graduates and alumni regularly to inform them of services available.
 • Project Support: Career Services Leadership may assign special projects to the Sr. Advising team. Career Advisors provide support and assistance as requested.

 Qualifications:
 • Bachelor’s degree required.
 • Experience with career services management platforms preferred.
 • Ability to work remotely; experience in a regulated environment preferred.
 • At least one year of experience in human resources, advising, or other related field required. Prefer experience in career services, employer relations, and student advising, preferably in higher education, or learning and development.
 • Excellent customer service and communication skills required including business writing.
 • Strong PC skills and experience with Internet search engines and social media.
