Residency Program Coordinator

Position Summary

The Residency Program Coordinator shares responsibility for the administration of a residency program and assists the Program Director in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements according to the ACGME, UMH Sparrow Hospital and Michigan State University requirements. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the residency program and has broad responsibilities that encompass many aspects of both management and administration of postgraduate medical education training.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Education, Health Education, Educational Administration or a related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience and knowledge of curriculum in the area of employment; word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Candidate must be self-directed with exceptional organizational skills. Experience with D2L and Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Remote work authorized; not to exceed 25 to 50% of total work hours. Reference letters are accepted but not necessary.
