About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will identify potential customers, qualify leads, and nurture relationships to drive sales opportunities.
 
Responsibilities
  • Prospecting for new business through daily high-volume activities via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Researching assigned targets and reaching out with tested value propositions to qualify prospective customers.
  • Coordinating with Marketing to track, assess, and qualify omnichannel leads.
  • Meeting with Solutions Account Executives to ensure accurate and fully documented pre-sales information.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to schedule effective demonstrations, meetings, and build pipeline.
  • Identifying suitable prospects and navigating company structures to identify key decision makers.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and managing client and prospect data.

Requirements
  • Experience in sales or scientific research is an advantage.
  • Have previous lead generation, sales, or customer-facing experience.
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Be a self-starter attitude with a proven work ethic and goal-exceeding history.
  • Possess positive attitude and ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Have interest in a career in sales and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and LinkedIn.

Regarding Salary Ranges required by law: the budget for this role is $48,000-$52,000 USD annually plus sales incentives. 

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $48,200 - $80,500. Total Target Cash: $74,200 - $123,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

 If performed in Illinois, the pay range is $50,600 - $84,400, the TTC is $77,900 - $130,100. If performed in Chicago, IL, the pay range is $53,000 - $88,500, the TTC is $81,700 - $136,200.     If performed in Ohio, the pay range is $45,700 - $76,500, the TTC is $70,600 - $117,600.

Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
