Clever is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for any applications interested in working with Clever. You will conduct exploratory calls and qualify them as potential customers for each of Clever’s different offerings. Your contacts will range from software developers at small educational startups to mid and upper level management at the largest tech and educational companies.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.
  • Research prospective customers and make outbound calls to generate interest in Clever’s core product suite.
  • Work collaboratively with Account Executives to create compelling outbound sales campaigns and track accordingly in Salesforce.
  • Use ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to keep Salesforce account contact details up-to-date.
  • Maintain prospect database, capture notes of calls.
  • Support Clever’s Account Executives as they work through deals.

SALARY TRANSPARENCY:

The range of our base salary cash compensation for this role for candidates living in the United States, besides NYC and San Francisco, CA, is between $51,000 - $65,000. For candidates living in NYC and San Francisco, CA is between $56,100 - $71,500. This position also offers a target, variable, or annual bonus incentive. All final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise.
