This role manages communications and engagement between the SECURE Southwest Center and regional research stakeholders, coordinates stakeholder activities, and supports the implementation of research security frameworks. The position also provides logistical, operational, and virtual event support to enhance collaboration and promote the SECURE Center's mission locally.

Highlights
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders including academic institutions, research institutes, medical centers, private companies, and federal research centers.
  • Serve as regional point of contact for inquiries and stakeholder engagement.
  • Plan and execute regional meetings, workshops, and virtual events, managing logistics and participant communication.
  • Manage stakeholder and community contact databases and contribute content to the SECURE Center digital platforms.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and support to regional staff on engagement tools and processes.
  • Use project management tools such as Monday.com, CRM databases, Slack, and Google Drive.
  • Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, IT, or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Compensation range is $60,000 to $90,000 annually.
  • Supports the National Science Foundation's RSI-ISAO program for research security in the Southwest region.
