Talent Acquisition (TA) sources and hires top talent for American Express around the world. The function, with approximately 500 colleagues, supports early career, experienced, and executive hiring, as well as our New to Blue onboarding experience.

How will you make an impact in this role?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Learning and Communications, the Senior Learning and Communications Analyst will design, deliver, and continuously improve engaging learning interventions and communications for the Talent Acquisition (TA) team within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG). This role blends instructional design, facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure Talent Acquisition colleagues are informed, empowered, and equipped to deliver the best candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver clear, engaging learning content that drives knowledge retention and behaviour change
  • Translate complex information into simple, compelling communications tailored to a wide range of audiences
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop scalable, relevant and compliant learning initiatives
  • Enhance colleague experience through well-timed, relevant, and accessible communications
  • Measure effectiveness of learning programs and communications, using data driven insights to continuously improve
  • Champion consistency in messaging, tone, and brand across all Talent Acquisition communications
  • Support change initiatives by creating targeted communication and training strategies 

Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in learning and development, internal communications, or a related field
  • Strong instructional design skills (e.g., e-learning, instructor led training, microlearning)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear, engaging style
  • Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data, measure impact and improve outcomes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in talent acquisition/recruitment
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and learning science
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinking with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience working within a global team

Salary Range: $65,500.00 to $102,500.00 annually + bonus + benefits
