Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.  | Master of Science in Nursing degree from a regionally accredited institution. Two years of relevant nursing or health field experience Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Advanced organizational skills Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders Current unencumbered Texas or Compact State RN license.

Job Description 
Responsible for coordinating graduate student clinical placements and assisting with the recruitment of qualified preceptors, as well as initiating clinical placement agreements for all programs within the School of Nursing.

Job Duties 
Obtaining suitable clinical placement sites for graduate students in collaboration with clinical course and faculty requirements Recruitment of appropriate and qualified clinical preceptors for all SON programs Ensuring all processes related to clinical placement and preceptor approvals are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Serving as the main point of contact for Clinical Affiliation Agreement requests with the College of Health Profession Dean’s Office Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with clinical agency management and staff. Serving as a member of clinical placement coordinating councils in securing clinical site placement for nursing programs. Developing and maintaining policies and procedures specific to each clinical site. Coordinating clinical orientation and online orientation modules for faculty and students according to clinical partner requirements. Oversight of nursing student and faculty compliance with credentials, background, drug screen, and required health screenings and immunizations. Serving as a member on School of Nursing committees as designated by the Graduate Program Director and School of Nursing Director. Communicating with students to ensure timely, complete and correct preceptor and clinical placement related document submissions. Ensuring clinical site and preceptor approvals are accurately documented and consistently updated in designated files available to faculty and administrators. Assisting in student recruitment efforts as directed by the SON Director Exhibits initiative, enthusiasm, collegiality, and teamwork in accomplishing the responsibilities of the position. Performs other duties as assigned.
