Our data science team works on designing, building, and maintaining NLP solutions for Generative AI Evaluation of Health and Health Education applications.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist III to join our team. You will be entrusted with the design, implementation, and maintenance of NLP solutions for Generative AI evaluation.

About the team; This team has crafted advanced data driven solutions to drive innovation in Health Care with the goal being to improve patient outcome.

Responsibilities
  • Designing approaches and writing code and services for data science and data analysis projects in a data science development life cycle 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a diverse and multicultural environment to identify approaches for data science to improve our products or inform our customers. 
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand the user problem and closely with architecture and the technical team to design and implement the solution.
  • Collaborating with Architecture and Data Engineering on the design of AI systems with an emphasis on reusability 
  • Contributing to DS best practices including data science governance, Responsible AI policies, and anti-bias initiatives 
  • Owning and driving the implementation of Automated Assessment of GenAI systems (LLM-as-a-judge, goldset comparison, etc) 
  • Implementing data asset strategy (metadata standards, data set registry, etc) to enable monetization of analytics in partnership with the business 

Requirements
  • Possess an advanced degree (PhD or MSc) and/or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate expertise with advanced analytics methodologies, AI/ML and predictive modeling, MLOps, Generative AI, prompt engineering, and RAG systems. 
  • Experience in using computing languages and software engineering practices (Python is preferred) to perform advanced analyses (such as algorithm development, statistical analyses or training predictive models), developing production code/models, as well as manipulating and visualizing data. 
  • Experience working on commercial data science projects that have or will be deployed in production. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with, or enthusiasm to learn, data engineering and software engineering principles to be an active collaborator in putting data science into production, share knowledge and drive best practices in the organization.
