Meet the team:
At Preply, tutors are core to our mission of unlocking human potential through learning. As part of the Supply Operations team, you will help us unlock better tutor–learner matches by improving the structure, quality, and surfaceability of tutor-side content.
You’ll work at the intersection of content, data, and product, supporting initiatives that range from specialty tagging and metadata generation to onboarding experience and tutor incentives. This role reports to the Senior Growth Manager – Supply and will work closely with the broader Supply Operations, Product, Data, and Marketing teams to drive supply growth.
What you’ll do:
- Content & metadata structuring
- Partner with Product and Data teams to design, validate, and maintain metadata systems that power Matching and Ranking — including defining tagging standards and supporting training/QA for ML-generated tags
- Content QA & enrichment
- Audit tutor bios, videos, and reviews to help extract key teaching signals, verify model outputs, and inform scalable content surfacing across Preply
- Profile experience & onboarding
- Collaborate with Product to improve onboarding and profile flows, ensuring tutors submit structured, high-signal content from the start
- Incentives & tutor motivation
- Support the design and implementation of content-related incentives (like profile score and badges) by identifying motivators and helping build effective feedback loops
What you need to succeed:
- 5+ years experience in growth, lifecycle marketing, conversion rate optimization, or product or marketplace operations, ideally in a cross-functional environment
- Proven experience leading initiatives from discovery to execution across multiple teams
- Highly analytical, hands-on with data, & comfortable turning insights into action
- A growth mindset of always testing, learning, and scaling with a drive to get things done
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with team members and partners
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have:
- Previous (supply-side) marketplace experience
- Previous experience driving or supporting user activation efforts
