Duties and Responsibilities  | The Investment Office is a small team where everyone is a key contributor. The Senior Analyst reports to the Director of Investments for day-to-day workflow but works in close collaboration with the Chief Investment Officer and Director of Operations across all phases of the investment process. The Senior Analyst spearheads analytical work to support the oversight of a diversified portfolio, and primary responsibility will be to monitor existing investment Managers and support due diligence for prospective Managers. This is a generalist position which will conduct research and perform analysis across asset classes (including public equity, fixed income, hedged strategies, private equity, and venture capital) and will also actively contribute to projects regarding asset allocation, liquidity, risk, performance reporting, and other thematic research. The longer-term intention for the Senior Analyst is to develop investment judgement and an independent voice, with a path to internal promotion and advancement as they advance these skills, grow in experience, and increase their contribution to the investment process.

Main responsibilities include:
 Monitoring and analyzing existing portfolio, including meetings with current Managers, and performing analyses of returns, holdings and sectors through on-site visits and research. Contributing to the Manager research process by supporting due diligence on prospective investment partnerships by evaluating the strategy, analyzing performance, and preparing investment memos. Researching broad investment and industry trends and supporting the Chief Investment Officer in various portfolio projects as required. Supporting the office with modeling and analysis of benchmarks, portfolio performance, risk and liquidity. Maintaining the integrity of investment manager data and reporting, including monitoring the collection, accuracy and timeliness of exposure and position transparency. Maintaining proficiency in systems, databases and software used by the Investment Office for research and portfolio management. Developing a professional network of investment Managers and other like-minded asset owners Performing other ad hoc projects to support the investment function as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience  | Bachelor’s Degree; CFA Charter Holder, or progress towards earning the designation highly preferred. 3 – 5 years work experience in Manager Research.
