Articulate is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI Product Engineering team!

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Articulate, you’ll work closely with other engineers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to use large language models, as well as more traditional machine learning, to solve various interesting problems for customers and internal users. Other responsibilities may include prototyping and evaluating new algorithms, authoring data engineering pipelines, analysis, and ML ops.

What you'll do:

  • Build and deploy real time machine learning systems to support Articulate products
  • Work closely with full-stack engineers, product managers, and designers on cross-functional teams
  • Collect and analyze metrics relating to machine learning systems, their efficacy, and their user engagement
  • Run experiments and iterate quickly to improve machine learning services over time
  • Research, develop, and prototype new algorithms or models to power potential new features

What you should have:

  • 5+ years work experience in production-level, real time machine learning at a SaaS company, or relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience writing production Python code
  • Experience with prompt engineering large language models such as GPT3/4, Claude, or open source models like Mistral
  • Extensive experience using modern machine learning languages and libraries such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, and others
  • Experience building REST APIs using technologies such as Flask or FastAPI
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with data processing tools such as Apache Spark
  • Working knowledge of full-stack backend technologies such as Node or Typescript

$133,700 - $200,500 a year

The pay range for this position is $133,700 to $200,500 for all US locations. Articulate takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
