Job Description

Together, we’ll build unforgettable brand programs for LEGOLAND Parks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers across North America!  

Core Responsibilities 
  • Lead development and activation of US partner marketing strategy, including due diligence assessment of brand fit, negotiation of mutual value creation, and cross-functional integration and optimization. 
  • Work in partnership with our Global Marketing organizations to operationalize our large global partnerships e.g. Nike, F1 and more  
  • Manage identification, evaluation and launch of integrated programs that improve brand equity and reinforce brand/product marketing initiatives through third-party promotional programs and strategic alliances. 
  • Build and maintain processes that support and sustain our partner marketing strategy deployment across functions (sales, marketing, LEGO Retail, LEGO Agency, Model Shop). 
  • Collaborate with brand marketing team to provide counsel, guide and manage partner programs that support business objectives. 
  • Lead Merlin Affairs integration with Americas marketing as primary liaison to North American LEGOLAND attractions, maintaining positive, ongoing, collaborative relationship. 
  • Serve as LEGO and LEGOLAND brand champion within respective marketing planning processes, driving integration of core themes and brand priorities into LEGOLAND experiences and ensure LEGOLAND inclusion and optimization in brand programs, as relevant.  
  • Strategically guide preparation, context and agenda setting for LEGO Systems/LEGOLAND North America top-to-top meetings.

US Marketing is responsible for developing, managing, and driving highly impactful and efficient consumer marketing programs to improve the LEGO brand among consumers and retail customers.  

Do you have what it takes? 
  • Proven experience in a marketing role (agency experience preferred) managing brand partnerships for large retail and/or consumer packaged goods brand(s) 
  • Experience in a larger, matrixed organization working with large scale external partners 
  • Experience in toys, kids and family entertainment or media preferred.  
  • Strategic problem solver, skilled in envisioning solutions and developing sound activation plans and related processes. 
  • Strong project management and planning abilities 
  • Ability to multi-task several priorities simultaneously 
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills 
  • Results oriented collaborator 
  • Self-starter with great instincts  
  • Excel in relationship management and teamwork  
  • Polished, professional presence, poise, confidence and the ability to articulate messages in a clear, concise and enthusiastic manner 
  • Solid understanding of the marketing ecosystem and track record integrating marketing functions (e.g. PR, social, experiential, paid media, retail marketing)  
  • Demonstrated ability/experience in presentations internally and externally  

Relocation 
There is no relocation budget for this role.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $139,672.00 - $209,508.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
