WGU is hiring a Senior Manager of Enterprise Partnerships (Institution Strategy & Ventures) to cultivate and manage high-impact partnerships that expand the university's reach, enhance innovation, and generate new pathways for learners and employers, bridging academic, corporate, and nonprofit ecosystems.

Primary responsibilities:

Build proactive plans for co-development, joint initiatives, and first-of-its-kind collaborations aligned with enterprise priorities
Coordinate across internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, risk management, and delivery readiness, negotiating partnership structures that protect WGU's mission and brand
Oversee progress and performance across partnership initiatives from concept through operational scale
Serve as the primary bridge between internal teams and partner organizations, leading cross-functional workstreams
Establish partnership success metrics and dashboards, reporting outcomes to senior leadership and the Board
Represent WGU at industry events, conferences, and consortia related to education, workforce, and technology innovation
Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; 7+ years of professional experience in strategic partnerships, corporate development, product management, or innovation strategy; 3+ years leading a team; and demonstrated success building partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, startups, or innovation labs. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for the degree.

Location: This position works out of WGU's corporate office in Salt Lake City, Utah, with relocation assistance available.

Compensation and benefits: The estimated pay range for this position is $130,600-$235,100.
