Job Description
Join our team as a Senior Trade & Shopper Marketing Manager, where you'll drive impactful retail campaigns across the Americas and Western Europe. 

Leverage your expertise to translate global strategies into regional successes, enhancing shopper experiences both online and in-store! 

Core Responsibilities: 
  • Globally drive retail shopper campaigns, collaborating with internal global marketing teams (Integrated Marketing, IM) and local BUs in Americas and Western Europe as well as other regions (CEEMA, APAC). Be the voice for Americas and Western Europe in campaign development. Note: this role will need to cover input and understanding of both Americas and Western Europe regions, however the main focus will be on Americas BUs, especially Canada and LATAM. 
  • Work closely with the Director of Trade & Shopper Marketing in Americas and Western Europe to translate our global strategy to a regional trade strategy aligned to our commercial priorities and channel strategy 
  • Development of Regional / BU -specific campaigns & toolkits in line with ICP (Integrated commercial plans) and local opportunities and occasions 
  • Deliver Regional Omni-channel Retail calendar including path-to-purchase guidelines & message guidance in a Retail Ecosystem (in collaboration with Shopper Operations) 
  • Work closely and collaboratively with regional commercial development (RCD), eCommerce Center of Excellence (COE) and BU Trade and marketing teams to deploy successful retail activations to drive brand engagement and drive sales both online and instore with our retailers 
  • Be a strong sparring partner for our marketing teams, especially Integrated Marketing (IM) using shopper insights and knowledge from the AMS and WE BUs 
  • Proactively & independently lead key strategic workstreams within the team 
  • Support NRP rollout & execution in B2B in partnership with TSM Design Experience 
  • Build, develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships across a network of colleagues and partners in Markets & Channels Central Marketing and local trade and eCommerce teams, and agency partners.  
  • Stay updated on market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform and adapt any future strategies or activities. Proactively look for Retail Marketing innovations in the e-Commerce & Omni-channel spaces & bring case studies to our team and our internal creative agency. 
  • Support regional IP partner opportunities with tailored tactics and toolkits. 
  • Create transparency and ensure economies of scale through knowledge sharing of effective retail strategies, innovation pilots, and successful initiatives.  
  • Conduct post evaluation & business analysis. Perform analysis on market and category trends, identify key consumers’ and shoppers’ insights, competition and campaign effectiveness tracking. 
 
Play your part in our team succeeding 
This position will play a pivotal role in translating the global Trade & Shopper Strategy to the region and ensure excellence in execution at our retailers, both in-store and online.  

Our team develops the Regional Trade Marketing Strategy & Priorities and drive strategic collaborations with respective regional teams to identify key shopper insights, develop & deliver commercial opportunities for priority customers & channels. We also collaborate with global teams with expertise across Store Design & Experience, Ecommerce Content and LEGO Branded Channels to drive implementation & execution excellence with our BUs.  

We are the voice of retailers, their shoppers and BU trade/eCommerce in global forums, campaign development, selling-in and gap-filling. Working closely with the BUs, we tailor marketing strategies to influence shopper behavior in their path-to-purchase, enhance their shopping experience and drive purchase consideration and conversion. 
 
Do you have what it takes? 
  • Extensive experience within a trade/shopper/retail marketing or ecommerce role with a proven track record of success ideally in high-impact consumer goods company.  
  • Shopper-centric orientation with proven track-record of acting and developing based on shopper insights.  
  • Strong experience targeting shoppers and driving conversion within retailer ecommerce platforms.  
  • Exhibits understanding of the shopper journey and path to purchase, and how to best optimize.  
  • A proactive individual with an inherent curiosity, a focus on results, and a talent for thinking creatively.  
  • A strong collaborator, teammate and communicator across fields and hierarchies to effectively steer and influence a variety of internal and external partners in a highly matrixed organization.  
  • A critical thinker with the ability to connect the dots from different forums, simplify complex ideas with a thoughtful point of view, and present and develop plans according to given strategies and objectives

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $124,706.00 - $187,060.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
