  • Scale the initiatives already running, rethink others, and ship new ideas
  • Report to the CEO and work day-to-day with Flint’s only dedicated marketer
  • Learn how Flint’s marketing works within the first two weeks and grow into ownership of a significant part of it
  • Show real marketing experience, with several personally owned projects and measurable results
  • Run many initiatives at once across content, brand, community, programs, and growth without waiting on a team, agency, or detailed brief
  • Earn bonus credit for recent SEO/GEO work with measurable results in the post-AI landscape

  • Base pay of $130,000-$165,000 plus meaningful equity

About Flint
The best education anyone has ever received is one person paying close attention to one student: moving at their pace, noticing what they missed, and asking the next question at the right moment. But the current system is built around a compromise, with one teacher managing thirty students.
Flint exists to take that compromise off the table. Personalized learning, at the scale of a whole school — every student working with something closer to a tutor, and every teacher able to see what is actually happening across their class instead of guessing.
Today, Flint is used by hundreds of thousands of students across private schools, public school districts, international school groups, and governments.

The Role
Flint already has a marketing operation that works: a dedicated marketer, day-to-day support from the CEO and GTM team, and a video editing agency. What we need now is someone to help take it from 1 to 100.
You will own initiatives across social, our website, teacher and student programs, courses, press, and campaigns. Some of these are running and need to scale. Others need rethinking. You will also bring new ideas and ship them.
You will report to our CEO and work day-to-day with Trevor, who is currently the only dedicated marketer on the team. Within your first two weeks, you should have a strong grasp of how our marketing works and be growing into ownership of a significant part of it.
We may add more marketers over time. This is not a management-track hire. We want someone who is here to do the work and take ownership — not someone looking to build and manage a team. We keep a flat hierarchy and think of managing as a responsibility, not a goal.

What We’re Looking For
You have real marketing experience and can point to several projects you personally owned, with results.
You are comfortable running many initiatives at once — content, brand, community, programs, growth — without waiting for a team, an agency, or a detailed brief.
You have good judgment about what to scale, what to change, and what to stop. You write clearly. You are comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Startup experience is a strong advantage. You care about education.
Bonus if you spike in any of these:
  • SEO/GEO — you’ve run initiatives with measurable results, recently (post-AI landscape, not legacy playbooks)
  • Community — you’ve built or elevated a brand into something people genuinely love
The common thread: you are startup-core. You figure things out and get them done.

What We Offer
  • Meaningful equity
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Personal device stipend

How to Apply
Email [email protected] with your LinkedIn and examples of 2–3 marketing projects you personally owned.
For each example, briefly explain what the project was, what you did, and what happened as a result.
