Senior Product Engineer - Aerospace Certification


Job Summary
DO-178 and related certification standards are increasingly applied to modern aircraft systems and software, including autonomous systems developed using AI. To manage complexity and accelerate development of such systems, aerospace engineers use automatic code generation and verification using Model-Based Design with MATLAB and Simulink, as well as, Model-Based System Engineering with System Composer.  As the Aerospace Certification Product Engineer, you will bring new technologies and examples to market that steamline development from requirements to testing, while ensuring that the process rigor required by DO-178, DO-254, ARP 4754, and other certification standards is achieved.

Responsibilities
  • Create systems and software development examples that satisfy certification standards
  • Engage with leadership and technical experts at key aerospace accounts, worldwide
  • Perform market research and establish area strategy with your development partner
  • Particpate in standards committees involving systems, software, digital hardware, and AI

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with DO-178
  • A bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.
