Senior Product Manager Full Description

Senior Product Manager

Newton, Massachusetts, United States of America, 02459

Full time

Primary Purpose

The Back-Up Care (BUC) product organization has grown significantly over the last several years. Alongside that growth, Bright Horizons has expanded the number of stakeholder groups and the complexity of cross-functional collaboration.

As the organization scales, the cost of inconsistent processes, scattered documentation, and unclear status reporting increases. Without a dedicated function to own operational clarity, teams spend meaningful time re-inventing the wheel, searching for the “latest” information, and rebuilding ad hoc reporting.

Bright Horizons has invested in Notion as a knowledge management platform and system of record for product artifacts. This creates an opportunity to establish a durable operating system for how BUC Product works.

This is a remote position available in the United States.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the next phase of growth for Product Operations within Bright Horizons Back-Up Care.

This role includes 2 components:
1) Acting as Product Manager/Owner for a new Team/Squad to support emerging initiatives and the continuation of scaling the BUC Development Roadmap

2) Leading the Product Ops function for BUC

This role will focus on building and governing the product org’s operating system across:

  • Communication and transparency
  • Knowledge management and discoverability
  • Analytics and tooling governance
  • Process and lifecycle consistency
  • Enablement and onboarding
