Guild is hiring a Senior Product Manager to join our team and to advance our capabilities in exchanging data with our Learning Partners. In this role, you will work alongside Engineers, Designers, PMs and Operators to act as the owner of our merchandising data, collecting program, pricing and calendar data from Learning Partners and enabling the creation of catalog tools and member-facing catalogs.

You will design and lead product decisions, discovery and delivery, defining and monitoring performance, and making recommendations for well-informed decisions, pivots, and iterations as needed. In the near-term, you will improve our existing services to simplify and de-risk existing processes. In parallel, you will craft a vision to modernize this entire stack, from data collection to catalog generation, in order to allow us to scale our Learning Marketplace and meet Guild’s strategic goals.

As a Senior Product Manager you will:

Lead the Learning Marketplace product team that is responsible for collecting catalog and calendar data from our Learning Partners, in order to enable catalog-building tool and member-facing catalogs

To do this, we expect you to:

  • Act as the product person accountable for the end to end product development lifecycle. This starts with deeply understanding the problem space and current operations, to solution definition and demand capture and ends when we successfully solve that problem in the market.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish a vision for Learning Partner catalog data exchange, to ensure that all investments ladder up seamlessly into the broader picture, while also solving their specific, differentiated pain points.
  • Be a key advocate for Guild’s overall Learning Marketplace, internally and externally. This will involve everything from influencing how we work with and choose Learning Partners to populate the Learning Marketplace and operating the marketplace to further Guild’s strategic goals, to working directly with Learning Partners on a technical and executive level and deepening our competitive advantage via the Learning Marketplace..

You are a strong fit for this role if you are:

You are able to work with ambiguity, carve your own path, and iterate quickly.

Expected Skills and Competencies

  • Obsession with building delightful, simple products for your users that solve complex problems
  • Experience starting with scrappy operational processes and maturing into scalable products
  • An unrelenting growth mindset, with a strong confidence in your ability to rapidly teach yourself and your team new things
  • Situational adaptability, including thriving in ambiguity and capable of juggling multiple competing priorities
  • Effective, concise storytelling and communication skills, with the ability and desire to own relationships from senior client stakeholders to internal support specialists.
  • A full suite of product skills from the development of user stories and translating business requirements up to delivering clear, coherent market plans and product strategy.
  • Passion about Guild’s mission, with an existing working knowledge of the education and future of work spaces

This role will require fairly significant in-person engagement, both with teams based in Denver and with external partners. Candidates should be willing to travel, approximately quarterly, if not based in Denver.

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $150,000 - $195,000, and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
