Villanova University is hiring a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, design, engineering, and construction efforts for capital projects, managing budgets, consultants, contractors, and stakeholder communications to successfully deliver new construction, renovations, and maintenance projects across the campus.
Highlights
Manage large and small capital and maintenance projects including repair, renovation, and new construction of university facilities and equipment.
Oversee project stages: budgeting, team hiring, supplier sourcing, schedule monitoring, and quality assurance.
Lead coordination with internal departments and represent Villanova to government entities and community groups.
Manage design consultants, contractors, and ensure compliance with codes and ordinances, including certificate of occupancy acquisition.
Assist in preparing the annual Capital Renewal Plan and Budget.
Required qualifications: B.S. in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or 15+ years related experience; minimum 10 years managing construction projects; PE or RA license desired.
Preferred skills: superior communication, experience working with university staff and regulatory authorities, proficiency with CAD, MS Project, MS Excel, BlueBeam Revu, and PowerPoint.
