We're looking for a SIMnet Sales Specialist to join our team Higher Ed Sales team.  
  
How can you make an impact?  
The SIMnet Sales Specialist will be responsible for working in the field as a sales driver to close high potential, high-volume opportunities that will contribute to market share and sales revenue growth. In this role, you will work with a team of Sales Representatives to drive sales and increase market share in CIT nationally.     
 
Working from a home office and reporting to the Director of CIT Sales, this position travels regularly on campus to meet with faculty and staff. This position will travel nationally and support the Private Sector customer base. Candidates should reside within an hour of a major airport within the United States and have a valid driver's license. Candidates must permanently reside within the United States to be considered for this opportunity. 
  
What you will be doing:    
  • Develop a targeted business plan with Sales Representatives and in partnership with the Product Teams, Regional Vice Presidents, and District Managers to drive sales results.   
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CIT as a discipline & platform to include core McGraw Hill Higher Education strategies, products, competition, market dynamics, and customer behavior.    
  • Work closely with the CIT Product team to drive successful sales campaigns to win new business, grow existing business, and retain market share.   
  • Identify ongoing professional development needs to ensure this team performs at the highest level. Coach, mentor, motivate, and inspire Sales Representatives.   
  • Develop, maintain and drive a list of the top accounts for winning and maintaining market share at these accounts.   
  • Partner with the product team to effectively build community and develop accounts for future partnering opportunities.   
  • Drive regional events to bring together decision makers in key areas.    
We're looking for someone with:   
  • Bachelor's Degree required.   
  • Proved track record of successful Higher Ed industry sales experience preferred.  
  • 4+ years of related sales or customer success experience, which could include working with customers in educational publishing, educational software publishing, and/or providing training in corporate or educational settings.   
  • Ability to communicate and interact with employees and customers at all levels, including the ability to give clear precise instructions that are readily understandable by non-technical users.  
  • An innovative and creative customer-centric approach.  
  • A problem-solving aptitude and attitude with rigorous attention to detail in all aspects of the job is essential.  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and webinar hosting services a plus.  
  • Ability to travel up to 60 percent of the year and a valid driver's license.  
As this position requires traveling by car, we require candidates to have a valid driver's license with the ability to drive a car in the designated territory.  The pay range for this position is between $70,000- $95,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
