About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to design and build high-quality applications using the Microsoft stack. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure best practices in coding and design. If you're passionate about creating robust, user-friendly applications and staying ahead of tech trends, this role is for you.

What you'll do

â¢ Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

â¢ Proactively suggest improvements to applications and processes that enhance the client experience or improve performance

â¢ Participate in the maintenance and support of the solution

â¢ Participate in Agile development process and ceremonies

â¢ Work with the Product Management team to understand and document project requirements

â¢ Collaborate with other engineers on the technical design of solutions

â¢ Keep up to date on the latest technical developments in your area

â¢ Implement design concepts from the UI/UX team.

â¢ Ensure compliance with Web standards and accessibility requirements.

â¢ Work closely with product management, scrum master, and other team members to coordinate implementation and provide progress updates at daily standup meetings

â¢ Ensure robust high quality code standards are maintained in the development process.

â¢ Participate in all Scrum team ceremonies.

What you'll bring

â¢ 5 or more years of experience in designing and developing applications on the Microsoft stack

â¢ Experience with common web technologies - JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML

â¢ Experience with C# and .NET Core

â¢ Experience with SQL Server and/or Cosmos Db

â¢ Understanding of software engineering best practices and object-oriented development

â¢ Experience working with RESTful services and APIs

â¢ Familiarity with Git and continuous integration systems

â¢ Familiarity with building software applications in the cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) a plus
