About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, youâll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Details:

In-Person Tutoring in La Quinta, CA
Schedule: 25 hours, 5x a week for 1 hour
Pay range is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

Fluent in both Spanish and English to support communication and family engagement.
Experience working with students with autism, cerebral palsy, or other physical/developmental challenges.
Skilled in using augmentative communication devices (e.g., Tobii Dynavox) or willing to learn.
Patient, empathetic, and creative in adapting instruction to individual needs.
Knowledgeable in executive functioning, social-emotional learning, and multi-sensory instructional strategies.
Ability to create engaging, interactive lessons that incorporate music, movement, and interests such as superheroes.
