About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced SPED tutor with a strong background in behavior intervention, trauma-informed practices, and supporting students with autism.
Credentialed teacher highly preferred.
Skilled in building social skills, self-help skills, and re-engagement in academics for students refusing schoolwork.
Patient, consistent, structured, and able to implement gentle behavior-support and self-regulation strategies.
Able to incorporate student interests such as drawing, Disney/Pixar movies, exercise, and cooking to increase engagement.
Must be able to administer assessments to tailor instruction and provide meaningful progress updates.
