Job Description  | Plan and coordinate all aspects of on-campus recruiting events hosted by the Marshall University Office of Recruitment which currently include, but are not limited to, Admitted Student Day, Green and White Day Open House events, Marshall Group Visits, and New Student Orientation. Plan and coordinate the parent/guest experience during New Student Orientation. Collaborate with staff and campus partners to develop, promote, and execute recruitment events to internal and external audiences. Work with recruitment staff and enrollment coordinators to develop on-campus, off-campus, and virtual recruitment events to enhance current and future recruitment initiatives.

Manage and schedule content across Enrollment Management social media platforms using a content calendar.  Draft and edit posts to engage prospective students and families. Oversee student workers’ contributions, providing feedback to ensure alignment with brand standards. Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management Marketing for content oversight and final approval.

Work in conjunction with the coordinator of campus experience to staff tour guides and provide tour training to staff members. Conduct and staff campus tours for group visits and special events. Arrange private tours and meetings for prospective students. Monitor the Recruitment email inbox and respond to students accordingly. Oversee the comprehensive visitor experience for all events. Must complete training and provide golf cart tours to prospective students and guests.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Occasional night and weekend work required. Limited travel may be required. Valid driver’s license necessary.

 Required Qualifications 
Education  | Bachelor’s degree
Experience  | At least one year of relevant experience in communications, journalism, event planning, or a related field. Must possess superior oral and written communication skills, a high level of creativity, and be able to manage multiple assignments while meeting changing deadlines. Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills are also imperative.
