Highlights

Handle the day-to-day administration of Summer Sessions and Winter J Term, including maintaining program records, tracking deadlines, and tracking enrollment and registration activity across the planning and registration cycles.
Answer questions from URI and visiting or non-degree students, faculty, and families about course offerings, application procedures, registration, and enrollment through the office's shared email inbox and phone line, referring questions to other university offices when needed.
Assist with program communications, marketing, and website development and updates for Winter J Term and Summer Sessions.
Participate in campus events, information sessions, and outreach activities that promote the programs to prospective and current students.
Supervise the office's intern team and student employees by coordinating schedules, assigning projects, providing training, and monitoring progress, and recommend improvements to student services, communications, and administrative processes.
Requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, communication, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in customer service, social media account management, event planning, and planning and evaluating marketing activities.
Requires demonstrated experience with image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with faculty, staff, and students in a higher education setting.
Full-time, permanent position at the Kingston campus with a salary hiring range of $60,000 to $65,000; remote work is allowed on Fridays, with on-campus work Monday through Thursday.
