Sr. Corporate Training Specialist
Position Summary:
Responsible for delivery of comprehensive training programs for one or more focused areas. This includes, but is not limited to, developing training calendars, developing training materials, delivering training, and assessing learner readiness. Serves as a subject matter expert. Trains, mentors, and supports junior team members.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
- Develops and delivers targeted training solutions, including new hire onboarding and recurrent team training, in support of business goals.
- Builds upon strong subject matter expertise through classroom attendance, job shadowing and on-the-job experience.
- Models the Lumeris values, promotes a learning culture, and cultivates a welcoming environment.
- Facilitates courses while demonstrating desired behaviors, including delivering in an engaging manner, communicating effectively, adhering to program expectations and running the classroom.
- Develops training using instructional design methodology through all phases of development; including review, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
- Ensures content accurately reflects current policies, procedures and regulatory & client standards.
- Handles classroom logistics, including scheduling rooms, preparing materials, tracking attendance and sending follow-up surveys.
- Evaluates trainee performance readiness throughout the training process and provide personalized, targeted feedback and coaches learners to help them succeed.
- Collaborates with training colleagues to enable knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Develops monthly and annual training calendar using supply and demand analysis.
- Provides expertise and cross-functional partnership to ensure that learning goals, training content, and delivery methods address identified needs.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent
- 5+ years of internal and/or external virtual and in person training experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
- Some previous healthcare industry experience or a solid knowledge of the industry
- Proven ability to apply adult learning best practices and methodologies in the development and delivery of training
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and teaching skills with the ability to meaningfully contribute to a performance-based learning culture
- Ability to successfully guide a classroom, including preparing the room and materials in advance, encouraging participation and effectively handling interruptions, pushback and questions
- Accomplished at supporting, training, inspiring, and motivating others to perform well
- Ability to seek feedback and implement improvements
- Solid project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and resiliency while dealing with ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate succinctly and effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain a strong knowledge of the training industry, including new methodologies

Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay rate include your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.
The hiring range for this position is:$72,800.00-$97,400.00
