What You'll Do:
The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for leading the design and development of enterprise-wide learning programs that align with business strategy, mentoring junior designers, and delivering measurable learning outcomes .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end instructional design for strategic enterprise-wide or business unit learning initiatives.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to conduct needs assessments and recommend learning strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design and develop blended learning programs using ADDIE, SAM, or Agile methodology (e-learning, ILT, VILT, microlearning).Lead learning experience design using tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Develop measurement and evaluation strategies (Kirkpatrick Levels 1-4) to assess learning effectiveness.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain team and stakeholder relationships by consistently delivering exceptional service and quality learning products.
- Evaluate and recommend new learning strategies, modalities, products and technologies.
- Make recommendations for process improvements and ensure all documentation, guidelines and training are up to date and available.
- Coach and mentor junior designers and contractors on learning design standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Education & Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning and development or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in instructional design, training development, graphic design, and LMS.
Proven experience with training methodologies to develop engaging and effective training curriculum to provide essential knowledge and to enhance user adoption.
Technical Skills:
Expert in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint.Expert in creating high quality learning using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, and Camtasia. Familiarity with LMS platforms.Experience with graphic tools within Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite of applications including, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Audition is a plus.Experience with data analytics and learning impact measurement a plus.

- Expert in instructional design theory, methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Expert in principles, practices, and standards of learning development.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
