About This Role
The Sr. Manager, R&D Learning will report to the Head of Document Control & Learning Management and will act as the Learning Partner for functions within the R&D organization. This role will be an expert in instructional design and conduct learning needs analysis. The role will design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the unique demands of the aligned function. This role will work closely with the business engaging stakeholders to identify skill gaps and enhance employees’ performance. This role will ensure consistency and scalability across training initiatives to support organizational growth and compliance. They will be responsible for the learning strategy and execution and will lead projects in support of the business goals and objectives.
This is a hybrid role that will be located in Cambridge, MA.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct training needs analysis and other instructional design activities.
- Develop and maintain onboarding program within R&D.
- Support training needs with system implementations.
- Coordinate and/or design and development of learning programs and content in support of R&D functions.
- Monitor R&D Training Process Key Quality Indicators to assess process health.
- Define and execute learning assignment strategy.
- Implementation of innovative learning.
- Coordinate and/or facilitate training sessions.
- Oversee external vendor training and/or development.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of Instructional Design methodology for adult learning, curriculum and course development.
- Knowledge of Performance Consulting processes for training program analysis and design.
- Knowledge of training program evaluation techniques for learning effectiveness.
- Strong project and change management skills with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced degree in Instructional Design or adult education.
- Learning management system experience.
- High proficiency in digital learning technologies and trends.

Additional InformationThe base compensation range for this role is:
$127,000.00-$169,500.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
