What You’ll Do 
HMH is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives within the NWEA Product Management division. This role is pivotal in aligning cross-functional teams and projects to deliver on key organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. 

Responsibilities 

Strategic Planning 
  • Define program goals and milestones aligned with product and division strategy.
  • Develop scalable onboarding processes and documentation.
  • Advocate for resources and process improvements to support program success.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to implement effective governance.

Project Management
  • Lead multiple projects from planning through execution.
  • Manage cross-functional launch activities and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
  • Coordinate with other Program Managers to align with broader product strategy.

Team Coordination
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all program-related activities.
  • Foster team cohesion and accountability.
  • Promote collaboration and maintain effective communication across teams.
  • Actively engage stakeholders at all levels.

Performance Evaluation
  • Track key metrics and analyze data to assess program effectiveness.
  • Generate reports and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

What You’ll Need

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in program/project management.
  • Strong technical skills and business acumen.
  • Experience in vendor relations and contract negotiations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and improve processes.

Preferred:
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience in the test assessment industry.
  • PMP or Agile certifications.
  • Experience with data-driven web applications.

Physical requirements:
  • Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
  • Constantly operates a computer and other digital devices
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues via online meetings.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams as well as work independently.

Salary Range:  $89 K – $125 K
