NMSU is hiring a STEM Outreach Program Specialist Senior to plan, develop, and implement STEM-related after-school programs and workshops for K-12 schools. The role includes overseeing multiple schools, creating STEM curricula, facilitating professional development for teachers, organizing STEM camps, and supporting grant writing and data analysis.

Plan and implement STEM after-school programs and family workshops for K-12 schools across southern New Mexico and statewide.
Provide oversight and support to up to ten schools running after-school STEM programs.
Develop STEM curriculum materials and instructional resource kits for after-school use.
Design and facilitate professional development workshops and STEM summer camps for students and teachers.
Collect, analyze, and report data on program effectiveness and participate in special projects.
Cultivate partnerships with school district administrators to tailor programs to school needs.
Support grant proposal writing and reporting to secure continued program funding.
Required qualifications include an Associate's degree with 4 years relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience; preferred is a Bachelor's in Education or related field with 3 years K-12 experience.
Compensation is $48,332.54, commensurate with qualifications.
Work is typically office-based with light physical effort and minimal physical risk.
