Department: OFFICE OF VP, SEM
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Description:
The Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Communications Coordinator is responsible for playing a pivotal role in coordinating and implementing the SEM marketing and communication initiatives to meet the objectives of the Strategic Plan. Reports to the Associate Director of Enrollment Communications. Communications include, but not limited to, email marketing, social media, website content, event communication, recruitment materials, and disseminating content through channels to various audiences.

Duties:
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Enrollment Communications, prepares marketing and communication products for recruitment of students and enrollment events. Collaborates with offices in SEM and the Colleges to plan for marketing needs. Serves on university committees as appropriate and performs related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience with creation and use of email marketing, social media, website content, event communication, and recruitment materials to connect with various audiences.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in integrated communication strategy development.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of SEM processes and communication initiatives and effective event marketing and communications. Knowledge of communication outlets, such as, email, sms, print, and social media. Skills in Microsoft Office products and industry-standard design programs. Skills in SIS and CRM system communication features. Ability to think strategically and skills in website systems and processes. Ability to connect with various audiences through appropriate marketing and communication. Ability to solve issues of a routine and simplistic nature independently. Ability to think strategically with excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
