Job Summary  | The Strategic Planning Analyst position plays an important role in supporting the implementation of HMHI’s strategy. Reporting to the Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives, this position helps ensure that strategic priorities are translated into action by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and maintaining the systems that keep initiatives on schedule. The Analyst works across departments to support initiative owners, prepare updates for leadership, and strengthen the infrastructure needed for successful execution. This role is a key member of the strategy implementation team, helping HMHI deliver on its mission and long-term goals.

Responsibilities  | Essential Functions:

• Coordinate the day-to-day tasks that help move strategy implementation forward.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support alignment and timely execution of initiatives.
• Suggest and support process improvements that make strategy execution smoother and more effective.
• Monitor timelines, capture meeting action items, and follow up to help keep projects on track.
• Work with team leaders and initiative owners to update and share action plans.
• Maintain the systems and tools (dashboards, trackers, schedules) that show progress on goals and initiatives.
• Prepare clear reports, presentations, and communication materials that keep leadership and stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and opportunities.

Strategic Planning Analyst, II
This position will utilize a strong understanding of business process analysis, workforce planning, and operational reviews. Collaborate across teams throughout the strategic planning process. Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline. Conduct work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
Expected Pay Range: $62,993 – $77,167

Strategic Planning Analyst, III
This position will utilize a strong understanding of business process analysis, workforce planning, and operational reviews. Collaborate across teams throughout the strategic planning process. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline. Conduct complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Expected Pay Range: $83,844 – $102,709
Minimum Qualifications  | EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:
Strategic Planning Analyst, II: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
Strategic Planning Analyst, III: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
