Team Overview

The Services Sales team works closely with PowerSchool customers for ongoing success through selling in to the marketplace post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team sells in to cross-portfolio customers with Day 2 services to continue the customer journey. Responsibilities: 

Description

The Solution Sales team oversees the selling of various product lines to K-12 school districts. Team members have a deep knowledge of our products and sales best practices, with a focus on growing revenue. This position will work with a set of Strategic named accounts to focus on long-term relationships and developing their customer journey. 

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Focus on long-term relationships with the customer and internal PowerSchool partners.
  • Utlize data driven decisions through tools provided to the Strategic Sales rep.
  • Ability to develop detailed plans for targeting prospects, identifying their needs, and presenting solutions
  • Partner with the account owner, marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution. 
  • Effective communication and relationship building
  • Manage and grow key accounts

Qualifications: 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Experience with Salesforce, office tools, cloud-based software, social media & collaboration tools strongly preferred

  • K-12 Educational Knowledge
  • Previous Sales and/or Customer facing experience
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $60,800 - $141,600 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
