The role involves advising the student government, supporting fraternity and sorority communities, mentoring emerging leaders, and collaborating with campus partners to enhance student engagement and leadership development.
Highlights
Provide leadership and operational support for Associated Students of New Mexico State University (ASNMSU) and Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL).
Advise student government branches and fraternity/sorority governing councils.
Mentor student leaders on governance, budgeting, policy, personnel, risk management, and leadership development.
Collaborate with campus partners to advance student engagement and governance initiatives.
Supervise and develop assigned student employees and graduate assistants.
Required qualifications: Associate's degree plus 2 years relevant experience or Bachelor's degree.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Higher Education or related field with 3+ years professional experience in student affairs and leadership advising.
Preferred certifications: Certified Student Affairs Educator, Mental Health First Aid, QPR Gatekeeper.
Salary range: $40,108 - $50,000, commensurate with experience.
Work schedule involves standard hours with some weekend and evening expectations.
