Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking to hire a Student Services Assistant to join our team. The Student Services Assistant will be responsible for the following:
Lead weekly, in-person Getting Started in Research workshops. Promote undergraduate research through outreach, such as tabling events and presentations, to diverse audiences, including student organizations, academic courses and admissions events. Conduct one-on-one consultations with students interested in getting involved in undergraduate research. Support the Undergraduate Research Ambassadors, a volunteer group of peer leaders that provide outreach for the OUR through presentations and campus events. Support the OUR through assistance with database management, grant processing and assessment projects. Assist with the coordination and organization of Discover USC undergraduate research showcase.
