The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Student Services and working closely with other members of the Student Services staff, the Student Services Coordinator will interact with students, faculty, and administrators from the Law School and the University. They will assist faculty, University administration, teaching assistants, and students in the day-to-day scheduling of Law School spaces. In addition, they will also be responsible for supporting the Director of Operations in helping student organizations plan events and performing various administrative tasks for the office of Student Services.
Responsibilities
In an effort to ensure optimal distribution of classroom/space resources the coordinator will be expected to:
  • Inform themselves about all Law School activity in order to balance the needs of faculty, classes, administration, and various other affiliated and non-affiliated groups within the University to ensure optimal distribution of classroom/space resources.
  • Work with the Law School Registrar’s Office to coordinate the distribution of classroom resources for academic use, including but not limited to, classes, TA sessions, and exams.
  • Maintain and upgrade EMS Enterprise or other scheduling-related software, web platforms, and databases.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assist in planning of schoolwide events and programs
  • Support the processing of various documentation to ensure timely payment to vendors
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to create a collaborative work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or the equivalent required; some college strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of three year’s related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Superior communication skills (both oral and written) and computer skills are necessary.
  • Must be able to work successfully under pressure and independently in a high-volume environment using excellent judgment, discretion, and patience, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Some overtime may be required.
  • Must be able to work with diverse constituencies and support an inclusive work environment.
