 Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | Procurement of equipment, services and/or supplies in compliance with the provisions of the SC Consolidated Procurement code and internal policies and procedures of the University system. Responsible for the complete and accurate review of purchase requisitions initiated by systemwide campuses for the procurement of equipment and supplies but not not limited to all printed materials and equipment.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials  |
Preferred Qualifications  | Knowledge of University policies and procedures as it relates to procurement. A knowledge of University funding sources and SC Consolidated Code. Ability to interpret data. Ability to collect, assemble, and disseminate information.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | A knowledge of State and University policy and procedures. Familiarization with SC Consolidated Procurement Code. Knowledge related to state procurement and/or professional services. Capable of working harmoniously with a diverse group of people. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Good analytical and decision making skills required.
