  • Use Splunk, Ansible, GitLab, and other tools to automate and streamline platform operations.
  • Support system engineering projects from initial design through deployment, meeting technical requirements and university standards.
  • Provide mentorship to system engineers and administrators on troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams and deployment procedures.
  • Ensure systems comply with security policies, compliance requirements, and internal standards.
  • Required skills: Splunk expertise, scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell, knowledge of CI/CD principles, and system architecture.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; 7 years IT experience including 2 years with Splunk; equivalent education or experience accepted.
  • Compensation range: $104,442 - $110,000 with potential adjustment based on qualifications and internal equity.
