Talent Coordinator Full Description

We’re looking for a highly organized and people-centric Talent Coordinator to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of talent acquisition, employee onboarding, and people experience. You’ll play a key role in creating a seamless candidate journey, a welcoming new hire experience, and a vibrant, inclusive workplace culture. The impact you'll have:
 Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support 
  • Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruiting for entry-level and mid-level roles
  • Post jobs, manage ATS updates, screen resumes, and schedule interviews
  • Coordinate candidate communications and ensure a high-quality candidate experience
  • Conduct initial phone screens and track candidate progress
  • Help build diverse candidate pipelines through sourcing and outreach
Onboarding & New Hire Experience 
  • Manage Pre-boarding logistics: send welcome emails, background checks, coordinate with IT, and partner with the People Generalist to ensure new hires are accurately set up in the appropriate systems.
  • Lead and deliver engaging orientation sessions
  • Provide new hires with a smooth and memorable first-week experience
  • Maintain and continuously improve onboarding documentation and workflows
People Experience & Culture
  • Support employee engagement programs, recognition efforts, and wellness initiatives
  • Help manage and coordinate Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including scheduling and internal communications
  • Plan and execute team events, social hours, and cultural celebrations that bring people together
 
The impact you'll have:
  • Possess a deep understanding of K-12 buying personas and motivations, and tailor communication styles to match the needs of specific personas (Superintendents, CIOs, CFOs, CAOs, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a new sales pipeline equivalent to a minimum of 4.5X quota by targeting, identifying, and qualifying new sales opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts to maximize revenue and drive additional value for clients
  • Collaborate effectively with Customer Success and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams to ensure seamless transitions, enhance client satisfaction, and optimize sales strategies through shared insights and coordinated efforts.
  • Manage pipeline activities with precision, including accurate forecasting and reporting in Salesforce CRM.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects throughout the complete buying cycle, providing accurate quotes and contracts for new sales and guiding them through the decision-making process.
  • Customize sales positioning and product demonstrations to address the unique needs and challenges of each prospect.
  • Travel to client meetings and industry events as necessary to represent SchoolStatus and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for new business, driving growth and contributing to the success of the organization.
 
What you'll bring:
  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR/People Ops, or a related function
  • Enthusiastic about recruiting and eager to keep learning and growing in the field
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally
  • A proactive, people-first mindset with a passion for inclusivity and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (especially Greenhouse) is a plus

U.S. Pay Range
$50,000—$65,000 USD

SchoolStatus intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience. Our team will provide more information about the total compensation package for this position during the interview process.
