Horace Mann is a purpose-driven company that is passionate about educators.We are seeking a Talent Development Specialist to design and deliver learning and development experiences that support employee growth, leadership effectiveness, and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with business leaders to identify learning needs and recommend high-impact development solutions.
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions, including general employee and leadership development workshops.
  • Design, organize, and deliver learning experiences through instructor-led, virtual, webinar, and blended formats.
  • Support learning delivery through the LMS, ensuring training content and activities are accessible and up to date.
  • Develop and document training processes, policies, and communication strategies.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for employee and leadership development programs.
  • Track, analyze, and report on program effectiveness, including learner satisfaction and performance outcomes.
  • Conduct needs analyses to identify skills gaps and align training with business goals.
  • Research and implement best practices in talent development through benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and quality across all programs.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of equivalent experience in learning and development.
  • Strong facilitation skills across multiple learning formats (in-person, virtual, blended).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness using data and feedback.
  • Passion for fostering a high-performance culture and enabling employee growth.
 
Pay Range:
  • $61,900.00 - $91,300.00  
Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
