The Team Lead, Sales Development is a highly driven individual and leads a team of Trainee’s. This role trains them on our products, sales methodology, and best practices. Leading them to generate successful contacts with educational partners and future customers. And most importantly developing their business professionalism, hard and soft job skills, and nurture them to gain the confidence to achieve their career goals.

The impact you'll have: 
  • Overseeing a team of Sales Development Specialists
  • Conduct entire management activities inclusive of coaching, evaluating, training, and monitoring performance
  • Train and coach employees to implement a sales process, to be intentional in sales process and to strategize the development of new business
  • Lead, train and develop interns and part time employees to prepare them with the skills necessary to succeed
  • Partner with the team in developing, improving, and delivering exceptional training  
  • Implement strategic plans to drive Ready renewals, market discovery, and other targeted goals  
  • Drive engagement and sales by leading your team through KPI based metrics 
  • Be a partner in developing strategy, call scripts, and working with internal partners to offer business development services

Candidates must have: 
  • A bachelor’s degree (Education or Marketing/Business preferred) 
  • 3 or more years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or similar metric-driven work environment. 
  • Proven track record of leading training to small and large audiences 
  • Experience with developing college aged adults  
  • Experience in Inside Sales in Education Technology or Publishing is preferred 
  • Experience in Workforce Management systems is preferred  

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $43,375-$70,875. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
