Job Summary/Basic FunctionsThe University of Mary Washington has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technology Contract Officer. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Public Procurement Contract Officer specifically for Technology.The mission of the Procurement Services Department is to support the purpose and goals of the University of Mary Washington – of providing a superior public liberal arts education – by assisting the University community in the procurement of high quality goods and services at competitive prices.
Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications
Ability to quickly learn relevant new technology in order to complete the work; Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills, including project management & follow-upAbility to work with various levels of University Administration professionally and effectivelyHighly developed communication skillsAbility to work mostly independently with general direction from Supervisor
 
Required Experience:Experience in a Public Procurement role, with a focus on Technology procurement and contract negotiations  Experience with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with e-procurement or Procure-to-Pay system
