Position Summary
The Technology Learning Partner plays a key role in helping Moran employees confidently and effectively use enterprise technology platforms such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and internal business systems.
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Learning and Development, this position bridges IT, and the Corporate Training Department to design and develop practical learning tools such as templates, quick reference systems, eLearning materials, and reusable modules that make technology learning simple, scalable, and sustainable. The role combines creativity, structure, and collaboration to design learning experiences that simplify technology, engage employees, and build confidence across the company.
Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and curate learning content for enterprise technology tools, including presentations, quick reference guides, “how-to” documents, videos, and microlearning’s.
- Partner with IT subject matter experts to translate technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand language suitable for a range of employee skill levels.
- Collaborate with the corporate training department to align all content with Moran’s learning standards, branding, and delivery methods.
- Develop structured training modules and templates that can be used and delivered by internal trainers.
- Facilitate short learning sessions or virtual demos to introduce new tools and reinforce technology best practices.
- Produce short, targeted learning assets (e.g., “How To” videos, Teams tips, feature spotlights) to drive technology adoption.
- Review and update existing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with evolving technology platforms.
- Support technology rollout initiatives by ensuring employees have the knowledge and tools needed ahead of launches or updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional content development, technology training, or technical communication, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven ability to create professional, engaging, and structured training materials for technology platforms.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and ability to illustrate practical, business-focused use cases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with IT and/or Learning & Development teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in instructional design, adult learning, or technical communications.
- Experience developing technology training materials or facilitating adoption for custom-built enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or enterprise training distribution platforms.
- Experience with video or screen recording tools such as Camtasia, Captivate, or Snagit.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and blended learning approaches.
Working Conditions
- Ability and willingness to work in Jacksonville, FL office 3 days a week.

Moran Towing Corporation offers generous benefits, opportunities for professional growth, and competitive salaries based on geographic location. Our target pay range for the Technology Learning Partner position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year. This pay range represents Moran's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
