Help advance CATCH Global Foundation (“CATCH”) as an edtech leader, delivering innovative digital health and wellness curricula to school districts worldwide. Annually, CATCH reaches over 4,000,000 kids, with users in 30 countries and counting.
About CATCH
CATCH is a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower educators with curriculum, training, and ongoing support to foster communities that thrive in mind, heart, and body. It offers evidence-based and evidence-informed programs and professional development in various content areas, including health education, physical education, vaping prevention, social-emotional learning, and whole-child wellness.
CATCH curriculum is delivered and managed through several web applications, including CATCH.org and SEL Journeys, which together deliver approximately 500,000 lessons per school year.
About the Role
We are seeking a Technology Manager to lead development, maintenance, and support across our platforms and internal technology infrastructure.
In this role, you will work directly with our Senior Director of Technology & Design to:
- Manage an offshore development team (one primary developer) and ticketing system to execute feature builds, bug fixes, and platform maintenance.
- Contribute to system architecture and application documentation.
- Proactively identify technology risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
- Participate in our Technology Advisory group, which includes a member of our Board of Directors.
- Work with a cybersecurity firm on retainer to strengthen our cybersecurity posture.
- Oversee AI governance and support AI adoption.
- Manage hardware inventory, setup, wiping, and provisioning.
- Configure and monitor Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and email security software.
- Configure the user directory and roles.
- Oversee web file storage and data backups.
- Complete district DPAs and technology questionnaires.
- Monitor technology stack health and track upcoming version updates.
- Provide occasional internal technology support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years of experience managing technical staff (employees or contractors).
- Foundational knowledge of full-stack web development.
- Experience with core IT operations is a plus, including hardware provisioning and lifecycle management, user directory and identity administration, and endpoint security tools such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Cybersecurity certification and/or experience preferred.
- Ability to independently oversee and coordinate complex projects while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

While our organization was founded in Austin, Texas, we operate in a 100% virtual work environment. We hold regular in-person retreats, with travel and lodging provided, to develop and grow together as a team and get to know one another on a more personal level.
Day to day, you can expect to connect with the rest of the CATCH team through video and voice calls, email, and Slack.
