Description of Work | The Nebraska College Preparatory Academy (NCPA) seeks a self-motivated professional to serve scholars in NCPA as the Teen Outreach Program Coordinator. This position will be responsible for planning and implementing Wyman’s Teen Outreach Program® (TOP®) during the 2025-2026 program year. Additionally, this position is responsible for fostering and stewarding positive and appropriate relationships with school students, faculty, counselors, and administrators. This position requires the ability to time manage and work well independently. This is a grant-funded position, and some evening and weekend hours are required.

Minimum Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in education, sociology, family studies, youth psychology or similar. Demonstrated ability to relate and administer programming to 9-12 grade high school aged populations. Experience with first-generation, low-income, and ethnic minority students necessary. Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assigned projects on time. Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting as well as function as an integral part of a team. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, public speaking experience, and ability to work independently. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications | Experience facilitating Wyman’s Teen Outreach Program® (TOP®) or similar. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office. Demonstrated leadership ability and evidence of self-motivation.Ability to work autonomously. Evidence of ability to manage conflict and evidence of effective problem-solving skills. Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse audiences.
