University of Dayton is hiring a TL/Lead Engineer - MBSE/System Engineering to lead a cross-functional team of engineers implementing digital materiel management solutions for a government customer. The role involves managing projects, acting as the primary government interface, and driving innovation in Model-Based Systems Engineering within defense or commercial applications.

Lead and develop a team of 4-8 engineers focused on digital materiel management (DMM) and MBSE projects.
Serve as the primary interface with government customers ensuring alignment of objectives and deliverables.
Manage project planning, resourcing, execution, and performance monitoring.
Implement and integrate digital materiel management and MBSE solutions with existing systems.
Provide strategic leadership to identify and resolve technical and project challenges.
Strong knowledge of MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, or Capella.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, 8 years of systems engineering experience, 3 years of leadership experience, and proficiency with MBSE and government reference architectures.
Experience with SysML, UAF, DoDAF, and MBSE standards is required.
US citizenship is mandatory due to contract requirements.
Preferred qualifications include 12+ years experience, a Master’s degree, government or defense experience, and active security clearance.
