TRAINING AND CONTENT SPECIALIST: Lexitas supports the legal industry with technology‑driven services, seeking organized, detail‑focused trainers who design clear, engaging learning experiences.
 
LOCATION: This is a full-time, Remote position. Lexitas provides a fully equipped home office setup, including a company-issued laptop.
 
PAY RANGE: $28.84-$31.25/hr

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Lexitas is seeking a creative, organized, and learner-focused Training & Content Specialist to help elevate how we onboard, train, and upskill employees across the organization. In this role, you’ll design engaging learning content, manage and enhance our Learning Management System (LMS), and partner closely with leaders to identify and address training needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, create, maintain, and enhance LMS training content, including multimedia courses, videos, infographics, job aids, reference materials, assessments, and step-by-step process documentation.
  • Apply adult-learning and instructional design best practices to ensure effective knowledge transfer and retention.
  • Partner with managers and supervisors to identify, assess, and prioritize training needs across departments.
  • Conduct training needs analyses, surveys, and skill assessments to support targeted learning solutions.
  • Develop stand-alone training materials and curriculum for both new hires and experienced employees.
  • Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning sessions, including presentations, workshops, and structured learning experiences.
  • Train employees on systems, tools, policies, procedures, and role-specific job functions.
  • Create simulations, monitored exercises, and problem-solving scenarios to reinforce learning.
  • Support large-scale training initiatives, quality assurance campaigns, and company-wide rollouts.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and continuously improve the new-hire learning experience.
  • Safeguard confidential medical records and ensure full compliance with HIPAA and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support organizational learning goals.
 
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with instructional design methodologies and learning technologies.
  • Proven ability to create engaging instructional materials aligned with adult-learning principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using online collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Trello, OneDrive, Planner, Slack).
  • Excellent writing skills, including instructional copy, scripts, and learning documentation.
  • Experience working with voice-over talent and multimedia learning assets is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and meet changing priorities.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for occasional overtime as needed.
  • Litigation or legal industry exposure is a plus, but not required.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in training, instructional design, content development, or corporate learning environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
